2025 REGULAR CLUB PADDLING SCHEDULE

Listed start times are on the water - please be at the hale 15 minutes before start time

Black Diamond (Early Morning) Practices open to all members with the understanding that lead steers will gear the practices towards experienced paddlers with he skills/techniques to perform fast paced, distance driven paddle sessions.  Knows proper paddling technique and has confidence to paddle in higher wind and waves.more physically demanding.Know how to and when to brace. Get back in the boat and assist others in a huli. Should be comfortable swimming in the river.

6:30AM - 8:00 AM


Blue Square & Green Circle  - (Green must paddle with a mentor), open to all members with the understanding that lead steers will assign boats and workouts based on the experience of paddlers attending, with all levels welcome.

Mon & Wed       8:00- 9:30 AM


Green Circle - open to all members with the understanding that the practice is geared towards everyone, of all levels, with a focus on paddling together in well blended crews and technique.  It is time to just be together, to explore and enjoy.

Friday    6:30  - 8:00 AM


Green Circle Sunday - - open to all members with the understanding that the practice is geared towards everyone, of all levels, with a focus on paddling together in well blended crews and technique.  It is time to just be together, to explore and enjoy.

 8:30 AM +


Race Crew Practices - open to members with a minimum of 1 year experience. An extra Racing Membership fee required. See Race Crew Requirements. It is required tat you participate in at least 2 of the seasons race events.

Tuesday 6:30 - 8:00 AM 


Crew Ups - Can be organized by a lead steers on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon or Saturday. It is time to just be together, to explore and enjoy or work on a particular focus. Time to be decided by crew.


Tips & Techniques - open to all members. Each week there will be a focus for practicing your paddling technique. This is Step 2 of the beginning new padder program.

2nd and 4th  Friday    5:00 - 6:30 PM




Once a beginner paddler completes Step 1, they will participate in Tips & Technique sessions -  Step 2. 

Continuing to Step 3, new paddlers will become a Member and work with a Member Mentor to be able to participate in Blue Square or Green Circle practices.
